Xpect Aerobics, Dance and Spinning

Here at Xpect we offer a fantastic choice of over 60 classes each week, suitable for all fitness levels, ages and abilities and at no extra cost to our members. Our amazing timetable includes holistic, dance, high energy and strength and conditioning classes. You can rely on our team of fabulous teachers to ensure that each class will deliver specific benefits including increasing flexibility, toning and burning calories.. plus we can guarantee you’ll have fun.


Spinning Classes (RPM)

Xpect has a dedicated Spinning Studio. A unique form of static cycling, spinning is a great cardiovascular work out for all levels of fitness. If you are new to the class, the instructor will ensure you are set up on the bike correctly and you will be advised on how to spin at a pace comfortable to your fitness level.

Just Choose a Class to Suit Your Goals

Burn Calories, Burn Fat, Increase stamina, Tone.

  • Zumba. The world wide Latin inspired, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning, feel-it-to-the-core fitness party. Achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba® class!

  • Body Attack. A Dynamic Hi/Lo athletic workout using simple, creative, uncomplicated choreography. Designed to target body parts that other workouts can’t reach. Increases stamina and burns calories as well as improving overall body strength!

  • Body Combat. Combines powerful moves and stances from a range of self-defence disciplines such as Karate, Kickboxing, Tai Chi and Tae Kwondo. Great for cardiovascular fitness, as well as toning and strengthening the arms and legs. A massive calorie burner for almost all levels.

  • Body Step. This is a cardiovascular programme that uses a height-adjustable step, providing a high-energy cardio workout to music. BodyStep features high intensity intervals followed by muscle conditioning tracks designed to shape and tone the entire lower body while pushing fat-burning systems into high gear.

  • Hotspot Classes. Hotspot classes will change every 6 weeks to add variety to your workout. The instructors will inform you of when the classes will change. Classes will include Zumba, Circuits, Body Balance, Rpm, Hula Hooping, Aqua and much more!

  • Gym Circuit. Lacking time to exercise? If so why not try a Gym Circuit class, its only 45minutes in length, with the intensity of completing a 60minute workout! Gym Circuit combines cardiovascular and resistance training

  • RPM. This unique form of static cycling is a cardiovascular exercise class that will not only benefit the heart and lungs but also tone all major muscles groups of the lower body. Suitable for all levels - a great group workout!

  • Rebounding. Rebounding is fun, easy, and safe for almost anybody of any age. Rebounding involves bouncing on a mini trampoline. Unlike regular trampolining, the aim isn’t to bounce high or perform gymnastic tricks, but to perform a series of small, controlled movements. Rebounding has many benefits including; improved muscle tone (particularly legs, thighs, hips, abdomen and arms), improved co-ordination and balance, it helps to lower cholesterol levels and more importantly IS GREAT FUN!

Tone and Strengthen

  • Body Pump. Using light to moderate weights to tone and firm your body, Pump is a resistance-training programme designed to boost endurance and burn fat, improve posture, increase strength as well as reducing the risk of back pain, arthritis and osteoporosis

  • Spare Tyre Workout. Our new Spare Tyre workout involves a full circuit class using spare tyres! Classes are designed to improve muscle tone as well as burn lots of calories.

  • Swiss Ball. Using a swiss ball, this class enables you to work and strengthen your core muscles. A fantastic workout for toning your abdominals!

  • Hula Hooping. A gentle, low-impact workout, that mobilises the spine. Hula Hooping works more than 30 core muscles, improves balance and co-ordination and helps to increase strength and stamina.

Build Strength, Flexibility, Improve Posture, Relax!

  • Body Balance. A dynamic fitness-to-music programme that leaves you feeling relaxed and renewed. Body Balance combines the best of eastern disciplines, like Yoga and Tai Chi with popular new methods such as Pilates and Feldenkrais.

  • Pilates. A mat based workout, concentrating on the deep postural muscles (torso and back) and working on building strength, flexibility and improve posture. A simple class to follow, with no impact , this class will suit everyone.

  • Yogalates. A mat based workout, which combines Yoga and Pilates into one class. Fantastic for working your core muscles.
